Best of luck Rineanna and thank you Tingle for your time as mod, your input has been valuable and you've helped make the forum what it is and as RoyMcC has said I hope you'll still hang around. All the best

    Thanks all.

I personally would like to thank Tingle for his stewardship of the forum during his time as Mod. The merging of the various A/R/T fora into one single forum was a challenge, and him, as well as the other three Mods, ensured the process went through fairly smoothly. Tingle's also made sure that the T&F side of things remained prominent during the change, and kept the peace in sometimes heated discussion.

We have a great community here, probably one of the few avenues for debate on Irish athletics there is, so I just hope we can continue to develop the forum, whilst keeping it civilised.

I'll be mostly, although not exclusively, keeping an eye on the T&F jazz. I'm looking forward to my time as Mod, however challenging it'll be. :)

I must echo Rineanna's remarks about Tingle. He did a great job for the last year. Thank you very much.

Regarding our new Lizard overlord moderator, I guessed it might be Rineanna. He is a level-headed, intelligent and unbiased contributor. An excellent choice.

So it is written, so shall it be.

    Good luck, Rineanna.

P.S. And just in time for Berlin!

See I go away for a week and they go and change things around on me ;)

Tingle was one of teh main driving forces behind the merging of the forums and he really has helped to build this forum into what it is. there was a real danger that T&F and teh elite end of things would get swamped by endless threads about road running and he really did a cracking job of balancing it all out and keeping the right ethos in the place.

He's promised that he won't be going far and hopefully he'll be letting his quirky sense of humour out to play more often now that he doesn't have to worry about how it will come across.

And just like the grizzled old sheriff handing his badge and gun on to the fresh faced and eager deputy Tingle has picked Rineanna to carry on and fight the good fight. And he's picked a good 'un so welcome to the team :D
