Hi there. Myself and three of my relations are hoping to raise money by doing the 100km in Sean Kelly's event at end of Waterford. Problem is we only have fairly poor hybrids at the moment. Does anyone know do any shops in Dublin or Waterford allow you to rent racers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What state are you 'fairly poor' bikes? Can they be serviced? the 100km is not that bad, you could manage on the hybrids.

Cycleways does rental in Dublin Parnel street across from the ilac centre.

Couple of them are in very bad condition.

Will certainly check out cycleways. Thanks

I think the guy in the Phoenix park may have a few racers for rent also.

He does, but they have to be reserved in advance. I did exactly the same thing for a 100km recently and it worked out perfectly.
