You could do a bit of research and see if there is any way of avoiding the ridiculous prices currently paid to Irish chemists - either a cheaper way of bringing the product in, or alternatively, a way of bringing people here out of the country to get their medical supplies. [ i'm thinking of all the coverage lately about one month supplies of 'whatever' drug being 110 euro here and something like 7 euro in spain].

Have you considered other food related franchises? http://www.franchisedirect.co.uk/ might be of some help to you, I know it's co.uk but they do have Irish franchises as well, (I've no affiliation with the site).

What part of the country are you in?

Have you considered buying or leasing an existing business?

You should also contact your local enterprise board, they can be very helpful even when you haven't decided on exactly what business you would like to set up. Their start your own business courses are very affordable and offer a lot of practical advice.

    Good luck with it.
