In the second match, a guy who lives in his basement decides that it would be a good idea to risk the 200k he has just won and go for the million (if he loses his 3rd match, he goes home with nothing) - Lederer also advised him to do it. I think its safe to say that the guy did not risk the 200k and was guaranteed x amount of money to do it... for obvious TV reasons.

this seems pretty rigged, especially wer e-dog hit his 2outer and then the basement guy hit his out on the river, in fairness to the producers they've got a lot of top notch pro's and two good presenters in Ali Nejad and the other guy does heads up tourney wit nejad.

the show is aimed at people who have never played poker b4 or lil of it n its to encourage these players to play, esp the way it shows the outs and nejad explains everything when the money goes in

another show wer amateurs are against pro which lasted one episode too was Ace In the House hosted by Cory Zeidman(slow rolled jen harmen in wsop)

It's a go0d idea for a show IMO but unfortunately doesn't quite succeed. Host is completely OTT and doesn't seem to understand the basics but I'm willing to persist in the hope that it improves.
It might actually work better if they didn't have the absolute cream of the top pro's - how motivated can they be???
