Bit of a trek so I wouldn't mind hearing if you think it'd be decent for kids. In particular the age restricted shows.

Any other astronomy / space ideas for kids would be very welcome. I don't own a telescope.

    What age?

I took my 8yo nephew to it a few months ago and he loved it.

There's loads of tactile stuff for kids to mess around with and the light shows are good for any age really.

2.5 and 11. Think I'll give it a lash one of these weekends. If I take pics I'll post them up here.

Armagh Planetarium is very good. Kids will love it. Most of the activities are aimed at the younger audience but it has something for all ages. Well worth a visit.

    Regards,

    Michael.
