I think Cowen and Lenihan should take a look at these questions and see if they have a problem!

    Gambling Problems
If you are unsure whether or not you may have developed a gambling problem, you can use the following simple checklist for self-assessment. If you answer positively to at lest four of the following questions it is recommended you call either our customer service staff, or call Gamcare or Gamblers Anonymous and seek professional advice.

    Preoccupation:
Do you find that you are becoming preoccupied with past gambling successes?
That Celtic Tiger was a roaring success wasn't it!

    Tolerance:
Do you find that you need to increase the amount of money you gamble to achieve the same enjoyment and excitement?
    €60bn enough?

    Unable to Stop:
Have you recently tried to stop gambling but were unsuccessful?
We did have a mini budget to assess where we are but there's much more to be done.

    Irritability:
Do you become moody or impatient when you are cutting down how much you gamble?
Brian Cowen :"I'll do it MY way"

    Escape from Reality:
Do you ever use gambling as a way of ignoring stress in your in life or even to pick you up when you feel down?
FF are still a lean, mean machine, we're still good!

    Chase losses:
Do you ever try to win back the money you lost by increasing the size or frequency of your wagers?
No need when there are plenty of taxpayers out there always willing to put their hands into their pockets and vote them back in.

    Conceal Involvement:
Do you ever hide how much or how often you gamble from significant others?
If anyone fully understands the NAMA legislation, MENSA is below you.

    Unsociable Behaviour:
Have you ever committed fraud or theft to get money to gamble with?
Guilty as charged. Lenihan: "I'm not convinced its significance jumped out at me"

    Ruin a Relationship/Opportunity:
Has gambling ever ruined a personal relationship or an occupational or educational opportunity?
PD's? You're next Gormley. Social partners are being currently dealt with accordingly.

    Bail-out:
Have you ever needed others to relieve a financial problem created by gambling?
I think this one speaks for itself!

Irish Society in general - a gambling problem.

"Do you want to keep what you have or would you rather risk it all on a 40-year mortgage on the basis that the economic boom is going to continue until you can pay it off and your house prize will continue to rise for 160 straight quarters??"
"Oooh... I think I'll have to risk it, JimJim...!"

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Gambling problem? I wish! That implies the chance of winning.
