I am looking for a good game for the PS3 i have been playing GTA4, Deadspace and RE4 for the last while and now need a change.

I used to love games like police quest/space quest from sierra on the PC years ago and would really fancy something a long them lines-an adventure/puzzle game that is not repetitive and formulaic.

    Has anyone any suggestions?

Uncharted would be my suggestion. It's cheap too

If you have a PC, a load of the old LucasArts adventure games like monkey Island and The Dig are available on Steam. The Sierra adventure games are going to be rereleased to I think. You can get the special edition of the Secret of Monkey Island for the Xbox and iPhone/iPod too. I picked it up for my iPod touch last night, love that game so much!

If you're after a new PS3 game, there's not much in the way of adventure/puzzle games besides Uncharted, which is well worth picking up. Ratchet and Clank is a really enjoyable and entertaining platformer too that you should be able to get cheap. inFamous is the most enjoyable game I've played recently. I'd check out the demo first on the PS Store to see if you like it.

I still have many of the LucasArts and Sierra games from the original release! The problem I have is that I much prefer to sit in my sitting room with a joy pad and 32inch TV than to hide away in my office playing games on the PC.The ps3 is just easier the PC is a bit too much like work. I always end up checking emails and the like when I use the PC-the ps3 is my time, its like hanging a do not disturb sign up.

Its an adventure to get through all those terrible terrible songs and a puzzle as to why anyone still listens to these bunch of corporate sellouts.

Go to Xtravision and rent a PS3 game a week, that's what I do now. I have around 15 PS3 games, but I think only 5 of them I would have bought if I had rented them before.
Most PS3 games are not worth playing again.
Now I don't buy games before I have rented them.

Chronicles of Riddick- Assault on Dark Athena. This game is retailing for €19.98 second hand in Game. Its an action game. Stealth, First person shooter and beat em' up rolled into one. The game also includes the original game from 2004. Escape from Butcher Bay. I'm still playing the Butcher Bay campaign and for a game from 2004 its quality. Voice overs are pretty cool aswell. Riddick is Vin Diesel, Ron Pearlman and X-zibit also feature. 2 games for less than 20 quid..you cant go wrong!

The adventure games I would recommend are Uncharted, inFamous and Red Faction Guerrilla. They are not really puzzle games though.

If you don't mind RPGs or the like, try Oblivion, Fallout 3 or [when it comes out] White Knight Chronicles.

Go with Uncharted you will be finished it and then you wont have too long to wait before number 2 comes out!

Valkyria Chronicles. No better game on the system tbh.

At the moment I'm playing 'Guess how much the interest on my credit is going to be?"

    It's tricky...and depressing.

Uncharted is amazing. Cheap too so if you do want a puzzle style game you could grab Puzzlequest off the PS Store. I loved that on pc i assume its no different on PS3.

I picked up Uncharted and army of two in my local extra vision for €20. I have not opened AoT yet, Uncharted is excellent, thanks for the recommendations.

If your looking for any more and you have a psn account, playstation store has titles organised into categories with most around €10. I'm pretty sure there is a puzzle section...
