    Hi there,
I am having a problem getting monies owed to me from my father's will. The solicitor in question gave us a portion of what was owed but has been playing silly buggers with the rest.

He has been coming up with ridiculous excuses like he moved office and couldn't find relevant records, he moved home and has been up to his eyeballs. He never answers the phone to me or any of my family. We're starting to get a bit worried now.

This has been going on for almost two years now. What can I do to force his hand?

A letter threatening a complaint to the LawSociety might work.
Or talk to another solicitor and see if a letter from them threatening proceedings does the job.
