Hi.

I am using a serial port to synchronise a computer program with a signal generator. Basically i want the computer to start running a loop when it receives a trigger pulse. The pulse is at about 10 Hz.

The question is. What would produce a shorter time between the pulse say reaching the port and being processable by the program. USB or Serial.
