    Seems that this Marseille based Amateur French Team has seen a few ( irish ) riders before they became pro, I hope Sam Bennett follows the steps of these guys, or even better .

    Sam would have had other offers at the time with pro outfits, lower level ones albeit, but the club he went to was chosen specifically because of their ability and track record in developing a rider and putting him in the shop window for the big teams.. Sams got some wise heads around him, so if he keeps his own head straight (not easy for a young lad), I don't think theres any doubt he will get his shot at the big time..

    Setenta (again!) had a good feature on him recently in a discussion about Irish sporting achievement, training, policy etc. generally. It was on that talk show.
