MY dog has a swollen thing on his hock, its golf ball sized fluid filled sack and seems painless to the dog. I think its called a hygroma. The dog alway lies on hard wooden fllor rather than his bed. Anyway any experiences and does it just clear up itself.

Hmm, upon googling, yeah it can be just random swelling. But you have to be careful not to aggrivate it more than it is, there's ways of bandagin, or putting down soft bedding around his bed? trying to get him to not lie on those hard surfaces (easier said than done i know)

What breed is the dog and has it come on all of a sudden?
