Has any one come across this new lnb/arm.
I just open a box of EL dishes to find out none of my quads or single lnbs will fit the arms. Painful

Haven't seen a "new" version of EL dishes yet?

I did get some Quad LNB's that do away with the need for the spacer thing to put it into the arm, but no change to the dishes themselves.

I will post a picture tomorrow. I just found this info about these dishes. They are been made since April 2009 the lnb fits over the arm.

look at the first quad and the size of the bracket http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/quad_sky_lnb.htm

Also mentioned in post 16 here http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1059491&highlight=+sky+dish+mk4

yeah they are alot better i think
the arm is no longer a box tube just a u tube. i think they are of a stronger construction also.. the lnb just clips on over it... have you not seen the new zinwell lnbs with a small level on them.. there is no play when the lnb is fixed to the arm...
    better me thinks

Had my first lot of them last week. LNB a little awkward to clip over the end of the arm. Otherwise, yes, arm does seem stronger with less movement.
Had to laugh at the little spirit level, bet the cowboys still fit the brackets skewed.
Previously seen zone 1 dishes with the level on them.

Got a batch myself last week too.
Find them as said, sturdier than the push in type.
You're able to now channel your cables through the u shape at the back of the arm instead of underneath the dish which looks a bit neater i think, and mid way along the arm there's two small indentations which if you use a cable tie to secure your cables prevents it sliding up or down the arm.

Have used a few but think the level looks a bit stupid on the end of the quad you need to fit to it. However that said makes the cables look a lot tidier as yoi can hide them under the bar, but I wouldnt recommend using them near a seaside as they are likely to last even less time than previous editions.
