    JWShooter if you could furnish me with some details bout the three week old pups id be very grateful... have a 15month old GWP and to be honest i dont think hes gonna amount to much so it'll be back to the drawing board.. so i hope to get a pup for next season all going well

    don't give up on your GWHP its not untill its 4th year should you give up i've 3 pointer's and all carry the puppyish play till about that age. But in saying that if there are real signs of a tin sort of a six pack well only a owner would know ..... keep with basic's for aother while sit heal fetch.. pointing should be not a prob,if it was in parents.... hold back on the hunting as it could cos the dog to start running in on birds.......... long.. long.... lead if you what to start on the pointing, hold him on the point if you can with woww woww command... lots of good books out there.
