IE8's InPrivate Browsing for a dummie. Please advise!

When I use InPrivate Browsing in IE8 it usually leaves a page saying "generic parser" in my history but nothing else. Click on it & it comes up as a blank black screen, pretty cool! But in the last few days it comes up saying google.ie instead.

Question is why? Only things I can think of, either it changed itself during an update, somebody changed it by accident (if its an easy thing to do by mistake?) or somebody purposely changed it.

If you have any thoughts I'd really appreciate hearing them, thanks.

I really have no axe to grind on this one way or another, but just use Firefox 3.5. It's safer, faster and has the same "Private Browsing" functionality.

Nothing to worry about, just something that happens with windows brilliantly designed programmes!

    use firefox!

I can only echo what's been said above. IE is full of holes and has too many security issues and vulnerabilities. I use Chrome myself and find it brilliant to be honest. And if you like using the InPrivate browsing, Chrome has an equivalent called an Incognito Window.
