VW Beetle Classic- where to find?

    I am looking to buy a classic VW Beetle. My budget is 2000, the cheaper the better really and in good condition.

    I would love a convertible beetle, but mightn't be possible considering my budget. I'm not fussy about colour at all.

    Does anyone know the best places to find something like this?

    Doubt you'll get a good one for your budget here, 2k would only get you a fix-er-upper...

    i'll be selling this in about 2 months, bought it and did a bit of work and intended to do a lot more but financial constraints and other factors have prevented me doing so, anyway its a grand car, i drive it to work every day, runs fine, might be just a bit more than your asking price but if you are interested let me know.
