First Puncture on Spin - Pumps?

    Hi all,

Eell I went for a 40km trip this morning and unfortunately I got a puncture in last km. Boo!

Had to walk home in road shoes (I guess that is a whole other thread). I had no inner tubes with me but that is ok I can get some and throw them in the saddle bag. Ideally I want to avoid carrying a bag with me on spins so could someone recommend a good smallish pump that would allow me to replace a tube and get me home.

    Cheers

You could use CO2 cartridges instead of a pump. They fit inside a saddle bag no problems.

I use the Topeak Master Blaster Pocket Rocket Pump for on the road.
It's small, cheap and does the job although I'd say it would take a while to get to 160 PSI. It fits easily into a back pocket and you forget it's there.

I'm sure there are better ones available but I haven't felt the need to upgrade yet.

    Hi All,

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up in Omni today so took a stroll into Duff Cycles, I got a few tubes and this pump http://www.genuineinnovations.com/bicycle/road-tri-athlete/road-air-2.html its handy enough and clips to frame, don't even notice its there.

    Thanks again all

PS Very impressive customer service in Duff Cycles, really nice guys
