Looking to buy a set of Ping G10 irons (BTW. I know that ping G15 are just being launched). Have had a look around the forum and haven't seen any threads with suggestions on best/cheapest place to source clubs. Any suggestions, either a shop or online store? McGuirks quoted 550 for 4-PW. Nevada Bobs 570.

Thats good value for a set of Pings. Check out the reviews on golfreview

I think there is some negative comments about the size of the heads in the shorter irons on golfwrx.com.

I bought a set of G10(4-sw) irons about 7 months ago in a golf shop in Portlaoise. Booked in for a custom fitting and hit loads of different irons and the i found the G10s suited me best by a mile.I paid 600 for them but pretty sure they can be got for about 500 now and will drop by more as soon as the new model comes out.Best money i ever spent though, got my handicap down from 16 to 14 since i got them and reckon i can get down to 12 before the end of the year.Make sure that whatever or wherever you buy that you get custom fit first. These irons are perfect for me but might not be everyones cup of tea. Most decent golf shops do the custom fit for free so its a no brainer really.

Where in Dublin does custom club fittings? American Golf have a machine out there do they actually go as far as fittings for irons?

    How about McGuirks?

American Golf do iron fitting for sure. My mate got fitted recenly for a set of TM Burner's - Fitting and adjustment included in the price..... He was very happy with the service and price!

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I might not get them much cheaper. I have 1 or 2 options of second hand G10 sets but I like the idea of getting fitted properly. I may get a fitting done and see if the suggestion comes close to any of the second hand sets available. That said, I might just bite the bullet and get fitted for them and buy them new. They look like nice clubs and I've wanted to try ping irons since getting a g5 driver, 19 deg hybrid and g10 24 deg hybrid (all second hand).

I play with G10s and bought them from Nevada Bobs 4 months ago in Bangor. I ordered 5-SW and it cost about €450 which included €50 delivery. The Euro was a lot stronger then so you'd need to check currency rates or just ring them and get a quote.

You do know that Ping already have their clubs customised? They have a dot system

    http://www.usedping.co.uk/ping_dot_colour.html

You can also answer a set of questions on their website and it will advise you on a dot colour. Nothing is set in stone but if you're buying them you'd probably like to have a look at the chart and online fitting. I love my G10s by the way but not as much as my putter, now he does need to be loved ;)
