About a week ago I downloaded a program called "The Phone Unlocker" from thepiratebay. This program would supposedly unlock my phone for use on all networks. After downloaded it I ran it and it asked for my e-mail address so I put it in(thinking it would just send me an activation code) but I just recived an e-mail saying that I had to pay to use the program so I just deleted the program and never thought about it again. However today I realised this e-mail in my inbox saying that I must pay them.

Here is the e-mail that I was sent

Should I be worried or is this just a scam to try get my money?

The gmail email address looks dodge. I wouldn't pay it anyway

Legal Advice here is not allowed

but tell them to piss off, it's debatable whether EULA's terms of adhesion are enforceable and whether such terms violate the EC (unfair terms in consumer contracts) regulations.

Since you're dealing with them as a consumer, and presumably living in ireland, the irish courts would have jurisdiction under regulation 44/2001

Do not do this as they will then know that the e-mail address is real. If they are scammers, they will sell your e-mail address to spammers.
