Hi, have started playing poker (NL Hold em) only the last few months and was just wondering what people think would be the most suitable type of games i should play in, for the most part i usually play 10 player sit n go tournaments trying to build a bankroll, i nearly went bust early but have been learning as i went and have built it back up to around 50 euro, any advice appreciated, cheers.

Try and have 20 buyins for whatever level your playing. Stick to $5 10 man SNG until you reach $250 then move to $10 SNG and so on. Read the Theory forum here and post any hands yourself where you weren't sure what to do etc etc. Try 2+2 aswell for reading strategy and stuff.

Also KJ isn't a good hand, fold it.

Your also probably better off not listening to me but i'm bored and felt like posting :)

you contradict yourself numerous times. FYI 50 bucks is only 10 buys at $5 level whereas 250 is 25 buys in at $10 level

Like i said don't listen to me. FYI €50 isn't 50 bucks and you shouldn't need 20 buyin's at this level if your halfway decent at poker. I know how many buyins are in $250 and $10 sng are generally $11 or $10.50 so IMO you should move up when you reach 250 as it looks good, one of my favourite numbers.

Why don't you offer some advice, your very keen to post about everything else and nit pick at posts.

you can get your self in alot of trouble playin with KJ esp if you inexpierenced!
its is only an adverage hand and thats why he was recomending to fold it

if your going to be playing exclusively 10 man sngs then this is the book you need, its like the bible for sngs.

you might pick it up for around a tenner on amazon, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sit-Go-Strategy-Collin-Moshman/dp/1880685396/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1249298130&sr=8-1
