I was looking though the bank account there and it turns out Setanta had been charging me 2 full subs instead of one full and one multi room. Any way I called up Setanta and got to speak to a pleasant enough bloke on the phone who said that I had been over charged 3 times by the now gone under and once by Setanta Ireland.

He said I would need to contact the administrator to get my refund , which we all know there is not a chance of happening ! Any way he then offered me my multi room for the year for free and my next month at €2.48 and then €10.99 for the next two months.

When I asked what the price will be after that he said it will be €16.99 per month which I think is a complete and utter rip off plus €12 for ESPN and that on top of the SKY sports package , Its costing about €8 extra a month now ! I expected Setanta to be €10.99 or some where along them lines.

Is there really a need to have all three?

Is there really a need to have any luxury items in life ?

I was merely stating that this new setup is costing the customer more money now.

But sure doesn't the EU reckon that competition is good? :(
