Pharmacies - Balbriggan

    What's the story with the pharmacies today - they're all closed? Tried the two opposite each other on Drogheda Street and Cronin's. No urgent prescription or anything, just curious..........

    On strike because of cuts in HSE fees to operate medical card & drug payment schemes.

    That's interesting as I understood that one of the pharmacies on Drogheda Street was to remain open.

    The HSE website is up to date only to the 24th of July. If anybody is aware of any pharmacy in Balbriggan/North County Dublin that is not taking part in this action they might post it here.

    I believe that McCabes are on the list as still offering their services but that they are actually participating in the strike as well (as heard on the radio on Thursday morning).

    The one in Castle mill shopping centre is open today!

    It was closed today.

    When we went down about 4 there were flyers in the window stating so too and blaming the HSE.


    When did you see it open?
