Hi guys.. looking to control my logic plugins from a hardware device. Kinda use the same plugins a lot.. Ie compressors and eq and the exs24. Have a bcf2000 which controls volume of tracks ect. Have just bought a novation nocturn but on automap it controls all plugins but logics. Tired of using my mouse ,going through all the effects then using plugin. Was hoping for to be on a track then touch a button on a hardware controller then my logic plugins appear, i pick one and edit it by the hardware. Am i being to high maintenance. Can this even be done.. Cheers in advance.. Have a good long weekend..

There's a thread over on the SOS forums. Apparently Novation are working on Logic templates for automap. I have found the Mackie HUI emulation mode all but useless.

Novation have a new version of Automap which allows you to control most of the Logic plugins. Check out their site.

cheers for that. Downloaded it earlier but dont think it does them all.. exs24 is a favourite of mine and it wont read it for some reason.. Actually only reading about 10 logic plugins..

I heard/read somewhere.. that the exs24 is coded slightly differently - maybe all the Logic Plugs.. cant recall exactly  - but I think thats the reason why they dont all fall exactly in line.

Thats whats held back the whole Automap thing with the Logic Instruments/plugs - I believe.
