    Hello,

I have a first generation Iphone that was brought over in America and was on the AT&T network but I want to put it on the O2 network.

It's currently not working with the sim I have.

if I were to bring my phone into an O2 shop would they just sort it for me?

If not what do I need to do?

    Any help is much appreciated...

    model number : A1203

No, O2 most certainly will not do it for you. :) The phone is locked to AT&T, so you will need to unlock it.

Have a read of the sticky at the top of the forum.

If this is the first time you have tried the phone with an Irish SIM, then the phone is probably still locked to AT&T.

You will need to jailbreak the phone and then unlock it. Tutorials for both are on www.iclarified.com

Just noticed Tom beat me to it
