    Hey Guys,

I bought a brand new Iphone 3Gs from O2.ie and received it on Monday. Everything is working fine but when someone calls no matter who it is, it comes up on the screen as UNKNOWN. This happens even when people in my contacts call me. I have gone to settings and hit "Import SIM Contacts" and it dosent seem to have made any difference. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

Any ideas/help would be greatly received.

    Thanks,

I think you need to have full prefix for your contacts number, a bit of a pain... So should read +35386XXXXXXX

Ive been getting the other half to call me and her no in my contacts shows as +353 (86) xxx xxxx so I dont think that's the problem.

quite a few people are having this problem if you do a google search. Seems the problem could lie with either your network or the SIM. Either way, take a trip into your local operator shop, ask for a new SIM and test, if that doesnt work get them to check your account.....nothing on the phone should be stopping incoming caller-id
