Need to know what connections are on the EQ. Can you post pics of the connection or even a link to the eBay item page? Also what head unit do you plan to connect it to?

    what your doing is

sending your signal from the radio to the eq and the from the EQ to the speakers.

You need to get a hold of spliter power cabels/ adapters so you can get power to the EQ

Signal wires need to be split and sent from the radio EQ and then to the speakers!

what kind of head unit have you got

hi what is a head unit ???

Your main stereo unit in the dash.

What needs to be determined is if the audio signal is to be sent to the EQ at line level or at speaker level. That will depend on the output & input of both units. Most audio signals are sent to an EQ at line level.

Can only give you this from instruction booklet!! The s7eq is a signal processor/preamplifier, It is intended for use in a car audio system which icludes ampliers in the signal pat AFTER the equalizer, and provides front, rear and Subwoofer low level outputs via RCA connectors.!! A stereo input signal is aplied to the equalizer using EITHER (but not both) the low level RCA inputs (from Head Unit line out) or from high level inputs (head unit speaker level outputs)!!!! whats that in plain English??? I have no idea!! perhaps I should get someone to fit it in!!!

It will work on both line and speaker. You will need to consult the connection diagram in the user manual. It will involve some re-wiring but it should be basic enough.

Simply put, the head unit speaker connections will go to the equaliser and then to the speakers. The equaliser will be between the head unit and the speakers.
