    It's called The O2 now! ;)

Nah seriously - never been in The Pint (terrible name for a pub) but it's on Eden Quay just after the turn off at The Abbey Theatre.

It was called Charlie P's years ago, then SOUL 18 and now The Pint.

Basic enough set-up upstairs. 2 speakers and a small mixing desk. Clearest point is right in front of the stage. Further back it starts getting muddy. Nice enough room there and beer isn't TOO expensive.

And not to mention the murder outside the pub a few years ago

Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Dublin murder

    15/06/2003 - 14:35:21
Detectives investigating a drive-by shooting in Dublin in which a pub doorman was killed today appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Ronald Draper, 25, was on duty outside the pub on Eden Quay when he was attacked just after 10pm last night.

Gardaí said two people rode past on a motorcycle and shot Mr Draper in the head before fleeing at speed.

One witness said that at least four shots were fired.

Mr Draper, from Tallaght in south Dublin, was taken to the Mater Hospital in a critical condition but died shortly before midnight.

A Honda motorcycle was found abandoned in the nearby Frankfurt Cottages area of the capital’s docklands.

The north side of the quay was busy with Saturday night revellers at the time of the incident and gardaí appealed for anybody who saw the gangland-style attack to contact them.

The area was sealed off for technical examinations.
