Sony 40W4500 or 40Z4500

I've decided it's time to get a new TV after having lived with a 21" CRT Grundig Monster for the past year.

The two models which have caught my eye are the Sony 40W4500 and the newer 40Z4500.

Do you have either of those models in stock, and can you deliver to Dublin? If so, what's the price?

    Thanks!

While you're at it, I'm in the market for a Sony KDL32W5500 (or similar), if I can get a good price (either delivered or for collection in Dublin)

    Edit: or a KDL32V5500

    Guys, anyone replying here ?

    Looking at http://www.richersounds.com/product/lcd-tv/sony/kdl40s5500/sony-kdl40s5500

Is there a best price available ?

    Curious,

    Thanks for the post!

£669.95/ €809.99 is our best price on that unit currently and that is an in-store price - if you want a better deal and a better TV for not a lot more money(ask the boardies here who have bought the similiar spec 8404 over the last week) why don't you try the 42PFL7404H at just €799.99 which is a full 42", has 4 HDMI against 3 on the Sony, Contrast ratio of 80,000:1 against 33,000 to one on the Sony and also features a class leading 3 Millisecond refresh rate?

Keep me posted and apologies for the initial delay in our reply!:o

Thanks John, can you send me a link and price for the 8404 ?

Thanks John, can you send me a link and price for the 8404 ?

http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/4/42pfl8404h_12/42pfl8404h_12_pss_eng.pdf - That's the link to the specs and we are doing a Boards special at just €999.99 at the moment - however I honestly don't expect to be able to hold that price for much longer!

Re the Sony - unfortunately that link still does not display the price and the offer was for one day only therefore we cannot match or price beat it, apologies :o

Thanks again for the poste and drop me a line if I can assist in any way,

    ATB,

    Hi John,

Thanks for the mention of the Philips sets. I could well be tempted by the 42PFL7404H or 42PFL8404H. Will have to read up on the specs.

In the meantime, coming back to my original question about the Sony sets, would you be able to deliver either of those Sony models to Dublin if I decided to go for one of those over the Philips?

    Cheers!
