Sorry to do this as I know this thread has been done to death but I searched and couldn't find a topic relevant to mine!
The passport office are closed till monday too so i can't call to ask them!

Basically, My friends and I booked trip to Belgium 2 months back for next Wednesday, 5th August, anyway over time people started dropping out and losing intrest so we decided we wouldn't bother.
Now I get a call saying 5 of my friends all wanna go. Sure we have it all booked might aswell.

Grand for them but I have no passport! Now I'm doing search's but I am confused..

I know I will need to go to Cork in person but:
Is it possible to get my full passport in person? Or will I have to get an emergency one?

Does anybody know the cost of the passport in person?
And finally, What will I need to bring down with me?

Once again sorry to ask a question that's done to death but I just need advice and my friends are clueless about this thing! :P

u need a birth cert ..2 passport photos and a passport form filled out and stamped by the guards...
U will not be issued with one that day and u will need 2 days for clearance for an emergency one as far as i know but could be wrong

    Cost of Passport €80

Cost of Emergency Passport €55 on top of the €80

    Public Counter Urgent Fee

Payable, upon proof of urgent travel, for passports required to be issued on the same or next day following application. This fee is in addition to the appropriate passport fee as set out above.

Please note that this is not an 'on demand' service and is only available for same/next day genuine urgent travel
