    Static Initializer not Called?! WTF Is this all aboot? Everytime I load the programme it says this?

    open this folder:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Application Data\Ableton\Cache\Index

    Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default. Here is how to make it visible:

    1. Launch Explorer.
    2. Select Tools/Folder Options/View.
    3. Check "Show hidden files and folders."

    Delete the files preferences.cfg and template.als

    Start Live, does it launch now?

    I also have this problem but I don't have any of the preferences.cfg or template.als files only one Cache.cfg file.

    I need help. What can I do?
