Nice. Shame Dream Theater aren't coming over though, planning to head to Manchester to see both acts. Know pointing out price discrepancies between Ireland and UK have been done to death but... only €35 they pay for Dream Theater and Opeth. Plus two other bands I've never heard of before.

Yeah I'll get to see them with Dream Theater at the London gig, so won't be going to this.
Add the fact DME didn't get the gig after bringing them over every other time up to now and it just leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

Yeah and Vicar Street is miles better than the Olympia.

all valid points - especially the one about DME, in fact I would have thought twice about going had I not already purchased my tickets...........
for those interested tickets went on sale when the announcement went up on MCD's site.......knew they would once they said they'd be on sale starting on a Bank Holiday Monday......

on a plus side though is that this is a headlining Opeth set, so having always managed to miss them live before I'm sure I'l enjoy it....

Will more than likely end up going to this. Seeing them the Saturday before in London with DT anyway, but a headline show would be class. And a chance to meet Mikael Akerfeldt:D
