Does anybody know where you can get Irish trad music for céilís in town? Would HMV be the best bet? Things like jigs, reels etc.

    Cheers!

Check out Uneeda Bookshop on the top of Oliver Plunket Street, near the Hill Billys end. They do that sort of thing.

You'd be able to get some in HMV alright, Siege of Ennis FTW :D

Cheers lads. Yeah we're going to go for the Siege of Ennis and Walls of Limerick I think. Can't beat the classics!

FM music store, near Easons, you'll hear the Irish music from outside.

What do you need it for? Some dancers prefer polkas for the Siege of Ennis while others prefer jigs. A random trad cd mightn't suit your needs at all. Try posting on the Trad board.
