Hi Guys I am flying to Palma in September for a Med Cruise with Budget Travel who I am told now own the Icelandic Airline Primera Air. Did anyone here take a holiday that was operated by Primera Air just wondering what they are like for on time and aircraft type etc. Regards Storm 10

Hi Storm 10,

I flew with these guys in April and i thought it was terrible. It was the worst flight I have ever been on. Their fleet is mostly b737-800's. Very squashed. Some of the stewards on the way back were Irish as was the pilot which kinda put me at more ease. Hope this doesn't put you off but its the truth! Enjoy the cruise!

I don't think they own them. Primera are a charter airline, like First Choice, Transavia etc. Budget travel charters them to fly their customers to the various resorts.

Budget are now owned by Primera an Icelandic group, which includes Primera Air.
