So I had an interview this week with a new company so I couldn't ask my usually Question to the interviewer "how did the position become available"

I decided to look online for a decent one and found this gem, I thought with all the doom and gloom you might get a laugh out of it just by imagining asking it in an interview. And the question is?

How many women and minorities hold management positions in your company?

That would scream to me "Trade Union Head" at the very least, and would knacker your chances of getting a job.

Haha, there's no way I'd hire someone who asked that!

I would not hire a person who asked that question at the end of an interview.

Methinks you shot yourself in the foot

On a serious point, what would you ask them?

Surely they would have explained the job to you, and would have hopefully done your own homework.

I think its always cheeky to ask about money and wrong to ask about hours, holidays etc.

    So whats left?

What could you ask that sounds good?

    Opportunities for career advancement
    Openess to new ideas
How are new projects initiated within the company
    Training schemes

There's just a few off the top of my head.
