Hooking my Ps3 wirelessly to the net

    trying to hook my ps3 up to the net. we have perlico broadband in the house. when i connect the ps3 to it it says it has 25% strength. i go to connect it and it says connection failed. any ideas /suggestions appreciatated. thanks

    Try changing channels on the wireless router. Try to keep both devices far from any interferences like cordless phones, etc. 25% is way too little to establish a successful connection.

    Perhaps move the router closer to the PS3 if possible by buying a longer phone cable. And like the post above, get rid of interference etc.

    I'm having the same prob with Eircon...only getting 25% connection to router, with no real option of moving it closer. Can't get a connection at all. So...NTL 10Meg being installed this week!.....hopefully I will then be able to play the bf1943 that I bought!

    The Netopia routers they provide are a bit sh*te in terms of wireless conections, had one myslef (now resting in box) and since switched to Netgear haven't noticed any problems I was having before (incl. laptops connection slowdowns, PS3/PSP connection problems etc.) Good luck.

    Had problems with wireless PS3, still cant stream but turned down the speed on the router to a lower setting and its more reliable. PS3 does not support draft n
