    Hi Folks
My first swimming lesson is over, just thought I would let ye know how it
went, first off all I would strongly recommend to any one learning how to
swim or nervous Adults like me to get a 1 2 1 lesson, the are very good,

The swimming pool was only for 1 2 1 lessons, children as young as 5/6
to adults in there mid 60's , and one teacher each,

I was sitting on the floor of the pool in the shallow end, learning how to
float, bring my legs to my chest and moving my arms down , im still
nervous but my teacher said im nearly there , soon I hope I will be able
to regain standing position with out holding on to the side of the pool , at
the minute im just using the top of my fingers for this,
The swimming teacher explained the difference between lungs full of air
in water and lungs with no air,
So if there is anyone out there thinking of learning to swim , please go
    for it, :D:D

    All the Best
    Dave.

    Congrads Dave,

Glad you took the plunge :D. Sounds like a very good setup with the pool to yourselves and the individual attention.

Will look forward to your posts on the first width, then length, then ......who knows 100m fly?
