Banner on BBC3 and BBC4

Using Sky HD when I tune in to BBC 3 or 4 the info banner remains on the screen. This does not happen with the ITV channels.

I am waiting to watch "Wallender" and the banner blocks the subtitles. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

    Help appreciated.

    Tim

    Try pressing back up

Usually Backup will clear it. If not power down the box and restart. Sounds like a software problem.

Backup works for every channel EXCEPT BBC 3 and 4.

I have performed numerous restarts over the last week. No luck.

    I had the same problem.

To fix it delete all the channels in "other channels" then do a sky+ rebuild (it's in the installer menu press services then 001 select), then add your other channels back in. Do this between the hours that BBC Three broadcasts and it should solve the problem of the banner re-appearing a couple of seconds after you press the back up button.

    I will try it later.

Sky has landed in chez yknaa last Saturday.:D
Thanks for the information but I am wondering if it is neccessary to delete all the channels and start again or is it possible to just delete bbc3 and bbc4 and add them in again while they are broadcasting? Just asking before I attempt to fix the problem.

Ignore me, got it sorted. Just deleted bbc3 and 4 from other channels, then tuned them back in and the banner problem is gone.
