    Hi

Can anyone tell me if Dublin City Council are buying properties at the moment. I've spent all day on phone and can't get through to them. We originally bought our house 9 years ago on the 50 50 scheme, we have since then remortgaged to buy them out.

    Thanks for any help

    Hi Op,

I contacted DCC myself 2 months back trying to sell my house to them & they said that they arent in the position financially to be able to buy houses, last year I was offered 280,000 and Im sorry that I didnt jump at the chance back then:(

Sold my house to DCC two years ago...got top dollar too :-)

DCC are NOT buying houses at the moment...they are €1billion in debt so no money for ought..

You could try renting it with them via the Rental Accom Scheme???
