Traveller Bareknuckle Boxing question?

    Hi

    I'm a photographer really interested in meeting and photographing some Traveller bareknuckle boxers. Anyone got any idea how I'd get in touch with them?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Go to any halting site, why would you want to picture them anyway? serious question. i know loads of them.. the real good fighters are the 1's in boxing clubs, there the 1's you should be photographing.

    there not athletes and useless fighters too.

    It will never happen mate, They have been badgered by the Sunday World photographers so much that I doubt they will even consider letting you. I agree with Cowzerp the real boxers among them are in the boxing clubs.

    I'm Irish but doing it for an English alternative magazine. Interested in the culture of the Travelling people moreso than the sporting angle, to be honest. Certainly not looking to badger anyone.

    If anyone knows any of these guy, particularly if they know are there any fights likely to be on this summer giz a shout on 087 ********.

    I'd really appreciate it.
