    FRIDAY, JULY 31
North Melbourne v Carlton, Etihad Stadium - Carlton

    SATURDAY, AUGUST 1
Western Bulldogs v Fremantle, Etihad Stadium - Bulldogs
Geelong v Adelaide, Skilled Stadium - Geelong
Sydney v St. Kilda, SCG - St. Kilda
Collingwood v Brisbane, MCG - Collingwood

    SUNDAY, AUGUST 2
Melbourne v Richmond, MCG - Richmond
Port Adelaide v Hawthorn, AAMI Stadium - Port
West Coast v Essendon, Subiaco Oval - Essendon

Eagles to lose again in a game we ordinarily should win. Tanking? Probably.

Saints and Cats to keep winning, with the Pies and Dogs also continuing to impress.

Melbourne/Richmond will be a tight one with the Tigers to scrape home, and I think Port will end the Hawks hopes of making the 8.

I see everyone is writin off the lions this week, I think they have been great in the last few games, really geling under Voss, I think its gonna be a very close game, I'd back the lions to win.

course that said the reason I dont post much in this forum is that whenever I come out and openly declare my support for the lions they lose, the useless B*strds.

i'd give the lions a better shot if it was at the gabba, but still it's gonna be very close. mitch clarke will have a day out without frasier there

eagles would usually beat essendon? they play better at subi yes but the bombers are legitimate finals contenders. sure they dont have lloyd and mc veigh, so even if the eagles werent tanking they'd find it very hard to beat essendon

ah they are a very good team, and will only get better. they really do need someone else up forward though, cant always bomb it into brownie. my team have the same problem (fev) and its pretty frustrating.

brisbane are looking like they can be a legitimate contender next year or the year after though
