hi , im looking to source carpet " steps" for a new red deal stairs with " see through " steps . they fit individually on each step either by self adhesive or mabe tacked on . asked around but nobody can tell me where to find these . not only are they a good idea to prevent wear but will also act as a safety device ensuring a non-slip surface .
can anyone advise me on these

Lidl had these a few weeks back...10 quid for packs of three...not a great selection of colours though and wouldn't have covered the entire thread...they were more of a rounded triangular shape than rectangular. Adhesive backed.

My local is Dundalk so a wee bit out of your road...and it was about a month back I saw them.
the thing with lidl is that if they had them once they'll have them again...their stock seems to come around in cycles. the other things is if lidl have them some other place is bound to have them (only dearer)...have you tried local carpet shops and the like?
