For normal skin it's recommended twice a day, I would have thought you'd be best doing the same, but using a very sensitive soap. Ultimately you still want to keep your skin clean.
Maybe try something for babies / young children, E45 doing a good range.

Or you could try Silcocks Base, it's a moisturiser and also can be used as a soap substitute.

OP, what do you wash your face with? If you're using normal soap it dries out your skin terribly.

Use a face wash and moisturise after and it'll sort you out in no time. Try the Simple range and see if it makes a difference.

hi thanks for the replys. i'm using aveeno wash and moisturiser as of late. i'm thinking now that my dry skin could be a result of me not washing my face properly. i had sebhorreic dermatitis before and i reckon i was'nt washing my face properly thinkin that it might flare up agian..is it better to wash the face under the shower or the sink do ye think?

If you have dermatitis then maybe try the likes of E45 or Eucerin washes? I have dermatitis on my arms and can't use any sort of scrub or soap other than Eucerin or Aqueous Cream on them without it flaring up. You may also just need to exfoliate to get rid of the dry skin.

I always wash my face in the shower but only cos I can never rinse my face properly using the sink without drowning the rest of the bathroom. :)

ya i tried the e45 and the eucerin but they did'nt really help. the eucerin seems to sting alot. i think exfoliating be a good idea. i make a mess aswel in the sink they must be thinkin what i'm doing in the bathroom atal.
