I am looking for a small van to do mainly weekend things , looking a this one here. obviously ex An Post. Would this put you off ? Prob suit my needs, but when i go to sell would i shift it to others that use vans for business etc. Miles are good, condition too. In stock 76 days according to this so not attractive to everyone i guess.
    Anyway what ya think ?

Still go the LeasePlan plate surrounds on that by the looks of it. Maybe give them a bell and see if someone nice on the service side of things will give you a run down on the maintenance done to it.

While it's probably had a hard life, An Post had everything replaced in half the time it was expected to wear out (i.e. if a hinge was expected to last for 1,000 shuts, it would be replaced after 500 - just an example), so it should have been maitained well.

Price looks fairly good for a small van with that mileage on.

I heard from someone else that Gearbox, seats, door hinges were re enforced for Post vans as they may get more wear & tear.
I wonder is this true ?
The seats look leather / vinyl in pics.
I see it says leaseplan on tax disc holder alright, God bless your eye sight for plate
surrounds ! Might try ringing them, but they hardly run it down. Just wondering if i shud bother my ass going to Limerick

    I

It is true and they'be everywhere soon. Renault just deliverd 700 odd new Kangoos to leaseplan for the post office and all the 06 ones are now back off contract hire. Expect to pay €2500 to leaseplan to buy one as far as I know.

Listed at €3,500 but they probably have a good selection up there.

Kartale, if you are dublin based, give them a bell - based in Sandyford.
