    It's pretty easy to work out how many it will affect/how many will die. Just solve the following equation:

    [latex]\displaystyle\mbox{i}\hbar\frac{\partial}{\partial t}\Psi(r,\ t) = -\frac{\hbar^2}{\mbox{2m}}\nabla^2\Psi(r,\ t)\ +\ \mbox{V(r)}\Psi(r,\ t)[/latex]
