Just looking for some advice on plastering. Have plasterboard with paper (which has been painted ) on it, no plaster. Looking to get a skim put on hall, stairs and landing. Just wondering if I can get plaster put directly on the paper or will I hve to strip it all.

Also if anybody has an idea what plastering of medium size hall, stairs and landing, walls and ceiling should cost.

    Thanks

u wont get paper off the PB, u will wreck the PB.
whether u can plaster the painted paper depends on how well the paper is bonded to the PB and what paint was used.
Cost: about 1 G for labour and materials
