Hiya folks. I'm not mad into comic books to be honest but I've always had a slight obsession with the film The Crow and always fancied picking up the comic book/novel. Can anyone tell me if it's still in print, how much it retails for and if any of the comic book shops in town would have it ?

I tried doing the google thing but I got confused when I came across multiple issues and stuff my head started spinning cause I always assumed it was released in a graphic novel form in just one book.

    Cheers, any help's appreciated :)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Crow#Author.27s_Edition
Since 1998, O'Barr has spoken of The Crow: Author's Edition,[citation needed] stating in a 2004 interview that it would contain at least "60 pages of new material that no one has ever seen. Half of that are pages that had to be removed for space reasons". O'Barr describes the additions as including "more romance flashback scenes between Eric and Shelly", as well as sequences which will make the work "more visually interesting".[1]

On January 12, 2008, O'Barr revealed at the Dallas Comic Con that Pocket Books currently owns publication rights to the book, and as such, the Author's Edition has been postponed until their sales drop below 25,000 copies per year. However, based on the numbers for 2007, O'Barr speculated the new version could possibly see print in 2009,[citation needed] which marks The Crow's 20th anniversary.

I am sure that any of the sub city stores would be glad to order it in for you if they don't have a copy in stock.
Orgnally it was a single issue comic and then it was collated into a graphic novel but there are as you saw various editions of it and as of yet no definitive edition, but some will say the 1993 edition collated by kitchen sink press is as good as it gets and that should be still available from I think it's titan press.
