    You can pick up tv tuners with remotes on ebay which could convert any monitor to a tv.

    Thats the first one that pops up on ebay. It looks faily high end, there are cheaper ones.
    It might be worth asking over on the electronics forum for advice before you buy.

    Thanks a million for tellign me that, because I heard of a lot of people just buying monitors and using them as TV's and now it seems like a mucgh cheaper way of doing it, could save a bomb!!!

    See a monitor in Dixons/Limerick. 20" widescreen. AOC Brand. 119Euro.
    Want to update from 17" HP. computer is Compaq Presario. AMD ATHLON (TM). 64. Has NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE.
    Don't need for GAMES ETC. Just, web and word proc.
    Any suggestions! ANYONE. mAX price - Euro140.

    Am going to check, what is best/max ability of computer. Think - 19"/20" is enough. Don't know anything about - AOC Brand!
    Or is ACER better?
    only 10 Euro dearer.

    So lets say including delivery and the box that allow you to receive television stations, E160,would this be cheap???
