Where is the Cheapest Place for a 16Gb iPod Touch 2g New.
ive Seen Them For 220£, so cheaper than that thanks.

I did a lot of searching for a good price.Thats a good price this side of the atlantic. they're $280-300 in the us. on ebay for €230 plus £24 GBP for packaging, so about €270 all in doing the conversion.
if it has to be new, then thats going to be the price. Apple.ie doing them for €279
i picked up a 3 month old 2ndGen for €200 all in on ebay, jailbroken inc. Plenty of low mileage high spec ones out there

non use of i tunes for music, movies games etc, more apps available to be used.

the short answer is ....... it depends.
what do you want from it?
mp3 player only?
imho the big advantage of the itouch is wifi. with the right gizmos you can use it as an internet phone! some of the apps are very good - see separate thread
as i say, what are you actually looking for

hi guys...just got a new 8gb ipod touch...working great so far but the only thing thats not right is the photos..i have an iphone and the photos on it are crystal clear but when i sync the same photos onto the ipod touch they appear really blurred...is there a setting i am missing or is this just the way it is??? any replys would be greatly appreciated as its wrecking my head thanks guys

what i am basically looking for is an mp3 player for the car, i wouldnt be looking to bring it anywhere else,

id go with a classic then.
would be easier to use in the car;)

hi all...i am trying to put photos from my pc onto my new 8gb ipod touch...the problem i am having is that all the photo albums that go onto it are all mixed up..i havent got two photos together the way they should be...i am not very good at computers so please help

The itouch is a waste of money relative to the regular ipods, if you only resally want an mp3 player

i'm thinking of getting an ipod touch. was just wondering about a few things before i commit all that cash.

firstly, do you have to buy you songs from itunes store, or can you simply get them from else where and use itunes to sync them to the device?

regarding internet on the touch, using the wifi in my house (2mb) will the internet be fast on the touch?

finaly, what is a jailbroken ipod?

I have the iPhone, but I have ripped CDs and copied in mp3's purchased elsewhere and they play without problem on the iPhone. The same should apply on the iPod Touch.
