Hey, i was just curious as to the existence of a bicycle courier service in galway? I haven't noticed any around town but i wondered if it exists and if not why not?? It seems like it could be a viable business opportunity to me but i'm curious as to others point of view.
    Thanks!!

I doubt there are any. What would there be to deliver? Fish and Aran jumpers?

Galway might be a bit small to sustain a courier company - you need to have a sizeable number of businesses that need to move documents urgently (i.e. faster than next day) which tends to mean legal and financial stuff. Whereas I would (perhaps incorrectly) see Galway as being a town where business is largely tourism-driven. There could be enough business for one or two independents, running their offices out of their bags, maybe.

there used to be a courier service in galway for about a year or so.
knew the guy doing it, trouble was that galway is still too spread out, too many industrial estates and the city while traffic is slow isnt slow enough to need a bike service to make it quicker to courier, a motorbike courriers are quicker with the infrastructure here.

Im not putting down any idea you might have but thats just first hand info.
