Uncompany problem

Just wondering if anyone is having any problems with uncompany at the mo? I placed an order with them last week, emailed them about it (they hadn't shipped it) and still haven't got a response since Friday.

Anyone know if they're on holidays or something as I didn't notice anything on their website last time I looked (I ordered after their computer problems so that shouldn't be it)?

    Cheers

Got something there last thursday that i ordered the previous sat/sun, faster than some of the irish retailers....sometimes.

Also got a quotation from there about two days ago but havnt paid yet so dont know what the story is with shipping.

Five them a couple of days and then maybe fire off an email, they are usually a bang on retailer.

yup usually they're A1 with anything I've ordered being shipped out the same day and any emails I've sent them being being replied to late afternoon their time but for some reason they've not replied to my emails about my order.

As usual the one time you want something quick it takes ages...

Placed an order last wednesday, paid for it on thursday, shipped out on friday. Only issue with that order was that I thought I had the wrong tracking number, so I emailed them and had a response in less than 3 hours, despite the fact it would've been 10:30pm loacal time in Hongkong?? (Turned out TNT re-use their tracking numbers, explains why my order had been delivered to Poland a few months ago:D) I've had an issue with UNCompany before but 9/10 times they're on the ball, possibley just an oversight on their part. Also did you qoute your order number in the subject line when you emailed them, if you didn't there's a fair chance it just got ignored.

I always send the tracking number in the subject and body. They sent it out yesterday but didn't bother to respond to my question on why it was taking soooooooo long (all other orders I've made were shipped same day as payment).

    Alls well that ends well.

Another question/problem someone else may have experienced.

I placed an order with uncompany and paid for it tuesday morning (and got the payment received email from them) but no shipping email. I've emailed them about it and as usual no reply... Now the problem is anywhere else I looked for the item it was out of stock hence I got if off uncompany who had it in stock, well that is until this evening when I looked at it on their site and its now out of stock!

So anyone experience this? Something is in stock, you buy it, then nothing for a few days when it suddenly becomes out of stock? Is I screwed?

Hong Kong is part of China now, although more relaxed. They still follow a lot of the Chinese holidays, so its possible they're closed. I'm not sure of the exact dates of the anniversary celebration though.

It was my first thought when it didn't ship on wed so I goggles HK public holidays to check but I didn't find any mention of it, but as you said they could be on their hols.

Rsov have something on their front page about the 23rd being a public holiday, so maybe its an extended holiday or something....

    *shrug*

From my experience, they make up their own rules regarding length of public holidays :)
