Is it possible to get to my wireless routers maintenance page without the password by physically connecting to it with an ethernet wire or will i still need the password???

I've lost the password and want to avoid resenting it if possible.

    thanks

If a password was set at some stage you'll need the password to do any admin, what's the model and make?

    thanks for the replys.
i know about the default passwords but i changed mine.
does it only ask for the password etc if you trying to access it on a wireless connection or both wireless and ethernet?

    i'd imagine both,
sometimes you can disable "admin via wireless"
but you'd stil need the password when using ethernet.

you'll prob just have to hit the reset button!

Depends entirely on the router. It'd be simple enough for them to allow access to the admin pages password-free when on wired, it's just a case of whatever policy the manufacturer went with.
